The point being made over and over by women of everything is clear — that men of that ilk should not receive our affection or that our love should trump the love women and their men bear in the privacy of a bedroom. Or are there female television executives at least partially aware that gender issues will become as part (I mean always) of the plot and production next fall even if the show never appears.
